Technical Resolutions for 2013

I hereby resolve to get off my lazy ass and complete the following in 2013:

  1. Learn to use a mocking framework for unit testing.
  2. Write JIRA plugin to present nice graphs of service monitoring data (uptime, service changes, etc.)
  3. Automate EC2 deployment with Puppet
  4. Write an Android game.
  5. Use an AVR to talk to Jenkins to do something when a build breaks.
  6. Write a Maven plugin to automagically insert canary pages into web application projects.

By committing to these things publicly, I hope to use shame as a motivator. I will document my progress here.
